As has been standard since the first Cataclysm raid, all the tier sets have their skins associated to other items that drop in said raids. Ergo, every tier set is available to other characters of the same armor persuasion. The statement, then, of “Availability: Warlock only! Time consuming to gather and requires a full raid” is a erroneous.

While your observation is close to being accurate, I should point out that it’s not relevant with regards to this particular article, and doesn’t render our availability statement erroneous.

Being that this specific “set” is infact only available to warlocks, then it is quite valid to note as such within the article, following the format which spans all of our articles. The non class specific items using the same skins as those of this, and all of the other Tier 16 sets, will be added in later posts under the heading of “ Lookalike”, as has been our custom since the site began in 2009. Compare our Stylish Cloth section with our Warlock Tier & PvP section for verification.

I’d also like to note that it’s not strictly true that “…every tier set is available to other characters of the same armor persuasion”, since Cataclysm. There are frequent occurances where a visual outfit is not fully available as a non class specific set, even as recent as this expansion where Tier 15 had a few sets short by a piece. See the forum post Project: Missing offsets for a list that is updated to and including Tier 15. Oh, and it was actually Tier 9 during Wrath of the Lich King where lookalikes of tier sets became a regular feature.
