This article provides an overview of one of the off-hand fan models introduced in Mists of Pandaria. There are four recolours of this particular model, some of which are raid drops, some are crafted by Scribes.
Inscribed Red Fan/Fan of Fiery Winds

There are two fans sharing the red model. The Inscribed Red Fan is a BoE off-hand created by Scribes of 560+ skill, with a recipe taught by all Inscription trainers. Among the materials required is an Inscribed Fan, also crafted by Scribes.
The Fan of Fiery Winds is a BoP drop from Feng the Accursed in Mogu’shan Vaults heroic.
Of the two, the Red Fan is the easist to obtain, as it is BoE and there are many potential crafters. The Fan of Fiery Winds is substantially harder to obtain, being that it’s from an heroic raid.
Inscribed Jade Fan

The Inscribed Jade Fan is a BoE off-hand created by Scribes of 560+ skill, with a recipe taught by all Inscription trainers.
Among the materials required for the Jade Fan is an Inscribed Fan, also crafted by Scribes.
Fan of Fiery Winds/Bone-Inlaid Fan
Armor Type: Off-Hand
Level Req.: 90/83
Source: Raid Drop/BoE drop
Availability: Simple, but potentially time consuming, to obtain
The Fan of Fiery Winds is a BoP drop from Feng the Accursed in Mogu’shan Vaults Raid Finder mode.
Note: With the current LFR loot system, only spirit-using classes/roles will be able to get this item. It would not be awarded to Mages or Warlocks, for example.
The Bone-Inlaid Fan is a BoE world from creatures in Pandarian zones/instances. Interestingly, before Patch 5.1 the fan’s model resembled a leg of meat such as the Petrified Camel Haunch.

The Fan of Fiery Winds is a BoP drop from Feng the Accursed in Mogu’shan Vaults normal-mode.
Regarding the Fan of Fiery Winds LFR edition:
The Bone-Inlaid Fan (http://www.wowhead.com/item=87458) which previously looked like a hunk of meat (currently still visible as such on the Armory (http://us.battle.net/wow/en/item/87458)), now shares the same model of the LFR edition of the Fan of Fiery Winds, so this provides an alternate selection for non-Spirit classes to get the look.
On a personal note, looks really nice with the Priest T4.
