Shining Silver/Bloodmail Legguards Outfit

Shining Silver/Bloodmail Legguards Set

Armor Type: Mail
Level Req.: 80
Source: BoE world drops/Ulduar raid drops/Crafted
Availability: Somewhat time consuming to obtain, but not too extreme

About the set:

This is a whole outfit based (very) loosely around the Bloodmail Legguards. There are infact five Bloodmail items in total, see here, but the pieces barely match eachother.

The legguards themselves are a low (c. ~3%) drop from all of the six penultimate bosses in the final wing of Scholomance; Doctor Theolen Krastinov, Lord Alexei Barov, Instructor Malicia, Lady Illucia Barov, The Ravenian and Lorekeeper Polkelt. They’re a visual replica of Tuxedo Pants and are the only transmogrifiable item with this appearance.

The remained of this outfit is compiled of BoE world drops, a couple of easily obtained crafted items, and two Ulduar drops. The goggles will probably present the greatest challenge to obtain, as they’ll require a decent-sized raid group to venture into Ulduar25, even if only to the first boss.

    Hi all,

I’d manage to pull together the pieces for this set except for the gloves.

I’d really appreciate if you could sugest me a one hand mace or axe that goes with this set plus http://www.wowhead.com/item=13375 for my shammy

A Murphstar looks good on shaman, along with a green shield with wood aspect. If you upgrade to a staff you could get something similar to Magena’s Staff of Knowledge or Whirlwind’s Harvest off of Korust in Nagrand.

    Hi everybody!!!

Unfortunately, since I can no longer get the black pants from Scolomance, I had to content myself with brown pants :(

However, doing some modifications to the choice of chest and wearing a bigger glove (releasing the use of a wrist) and also easier to find, the transmog is just awesome!

I’m still looking the Sentry’s Gloves and Champion’s Girdle, but until there, I’m pretty satisfied with the current transmog!

Well.. This is one of the most awesome sets I have ever seen. But there’s one problem, when they replaced the old scholomance with the new one, these legs are now unobtainable. Is there any other legs that could fit in with this set? Please reply <3

    • Noelani says:

You could try something like the Talhide-Lined Leggings as seen in Nausicaä’s screenshot above. They’re brown, but they match the other brown elements in the set well. Have a look and see what you think.

If you’re looking for specifically black pant replacements it could be a lot more challenging, as there’s nothing identical other than the non-moggable Tuxedo Pants! Good black items are actually quite a rarity in WoW.

  4. […] like the Silver-Thread cloth set, but this is the only such leather outfit. Mail: Bloodmail WoWRoleplayGear Link (incomplete set) / Wowhead […]

Added some extra pieces, for engineers or non engineers and some easier to obtain guns.
    Hope you like it. Cheers.

Are there any bracers and polearms that can be used to match this set?

  9. Azlan says:

Nice! I also use bloodmail legging just to complete almost every look! Esp cata gear rewards which some of them are missing pants!

Here is an example of a usage of bloodmail legguard that I’ve worked on; Pirate “YARRR”
