Master’s Set

Master’s Set

Armor Type: Cloth
Level Req.: 60 for Master’s items/70 with extras
Source: BoE world drops
Availability: Time consuming to piece together

About the set:

Master’s items drop most notably from level 60+ elites in old Azerothian raids, and occasionally from rarespawns of level 55 and on.
Browsing the Auction House regularly is probably the best approach to completing this set, as grinding raid instances for the drops is potentially very time consuming.

As another poster noted, most of the set is identical to the nether weave set that can be made by tailors. This set doesn’t have shoulder pieces, but the shoulders are the exact same model and color as black mageweave shoulders, also easily and cheaply made by tailors. These pieces will usually be much, much cheaper on the AH than the master’s set pieces, as they are very low-level recipes learned from tailoring trainers.

I followed gwydion9’s advice (and doogie’s) regarding the Netherweave Vestments and the Black Mageweave Shoulders. I mogged my staff to the Staff of Wayward Principles (Skadi the Ruthless, Heroic Utgarde Pinnacle), which has the perfect cowhide look in its design for my Tauren priest, who will henceforth be known as the Preacher in Black.

this set is also the same at the neatherweave made from tailors

The set kind of got Scholar elements in it, or could fit a historian, or a Lore enthusiast.
As the name says “Master” I also feel that it could fit a Wizard teaching others at academies etc.
The Coloring is mainly black, so would fit a Shadow Priest or Demonology Warlock very well.
