How to get the set:
Golden Scale items are crafted by Blacksmiths of 205+ skill. The recipes for the set piecs are almost all BoE world drops, but they crop up on the Auction House quite often. Note that there is no belt in the Golden Scale set.

Note: The Golden Scale headpiece was not included here, as we felt it detracted from the quality of the overall look. You can view it, along with all of the Golden Scale items, here.
There is the Golden Scale Coif as a helmet to this set.
We documented that in the ‘Note’ section at the bottom of the article. The reason we left it out of the picture is that we feel the colour of the coif doesn’t match the rest of the set overly well.
I would like to suggest an attractive helm for this set – the Brilliant Titansteel Helm. It has the same colors as the Golden Scale set and IMO gives some awesome Paladin flavor to the look
Might match color-wise, but the Titansteel Helm is a PLATE item and this is a MAIL set of armor.
So, no helm either?
As noted, we tend to leave out headpieces (and often shoulderpieces) as we feel they often detract from the overall quality of the set appearance.
