How to get the set:
All of the items in the Ten Storms recolor set are from level 70 normal and heroic dungeons. The farming process is easily soloable by a level 85 character, but it is potentially very time consuming to gather the entire set, due to daily heroic lockouts.
Head – Headdress of the Tides (BoP from Ghaz’an in Heroic Underbog, at an 18% drop rate)
Shoulders – Mantle of the Sea Wolf (BoP from Tavarok in Heroic Mana-Tombs, at a 15% drop rate)
Chest – Harness of the Deep Currents (BoP from Murmur in Normal and Heroic Shadow Labyrinth, at a 15% drop rate)
Wrists – Primal Surge Bracers (BoP from Aeonus in Normal and Heroic Black Morass, at a 17% drop rate)
Gloves – Fathomheart Gauntlets (BoP from Warlord Kalithresh in Normal and Heroic Steamvault, at an 18% drop rate)
Waist – Stillwater Girdle (BoP from Nexus-Prince Shaffar in Heroic Mana-Tombs, at a 17% drop rate)
Legs – Oceansong Kilt (BoP from the Reinforced Fel Iron Chest in Heroic Ramparts, after defeating Nazan and Vazruden, at a 20% drop rate)
Feet – Wavefury Boots (BoP from Rokmar the Crackler in Heroic Slave Pens, at a 15% drop rate)

A very nice polearm to match this is Sonic Spear from Murmur, Shadow Labs Normal http://www.wowhead.com/item=27903

works very well as a polearm for this, I use it on my hunter.
There is a cloak which matches this set absolutely perfectly: http://www.wowhead.com/item=28301 — it drops from the first boss in Botanica (on Normal, so very easy to farm).
For other hunters out there, there is also a wonderful bow which fits this set: http://www.wowhead.com/item=27987 — from the first boss in The Black Morass (on Normal, so very easy to farm).
I want this for my hunter! Which polearm could the style experts here recommend to go with this set?
I’ve been looking for a “different” style for my enhancement shaman when I came across this. It matches perfectly with my Netherbane (http://www.wowhead.com/item=29924) which I plan to dual wield as soon as I finish my set.
got it complete for mi nelf female hunter, skirt and all
gives her a sort of ceremonnial moon priestess-huntress air that kills on sheer coolness
however, that brutal gladiator thing i find simply horrid to really match colour and lights, i’ve taken up that freakingly stunning Melmorta’s Twilight Longbow (http://www.wowhead.com/item=27987) from chrono lord deja in normal black morass and, seeing we hunties are stuck with polearms now, the Plasma Rat’s HyperScythe (http://www.wowhead.com/item=28253#.) from capacitus in normal mechanar seems to keep the set nicely (though i’m still looking for more “mauve” polearms as the plasmarat’s got some greenish sheen on the blade

For hunters: If you want a bow that looks great with this set, the Brutal Gladiator’s Longbow (http://www.wowhead.com/item=35047) is a beautiful match for this set.

The pants and bow are excellent matches and look great on female belf as a set. Can’t say about the helmet as the original looks great (I assume the more closed helm suggestion is for a male hunter).
If you’re a Draenei, and using this set as a hunter along with those pants, http://www.wowhead.com/item=56494 are good boots. They don’t show up on Draenei at all! I didn’t find a pair of boots (other than http://www.wowhead.com/item=31214) that looked good with those pants, so I just tossed the Tsunami boots on, and went with the unblemished pants!
Can anyone reccomend pants that would match this at all? For my hunter, I somehow feel she wouldn’t wear a dress.
Will hunters be able to transmog there gear into this? would really give me an edge in arena lol
Yes they will. All the sets under the “Stylish” categories are not class specific (with only a few exceptions, but the article will state if this is the case).

I’ve tried to see if I could match the set with any staves.
If you at some point is able to get hold of Spire of Scarlet Pain (http://www.wowhead.com/item=71360) then it’s an absolutely beautiful match.
As that might not be feasable right now, Staff of Dominance (http://www.wowhead.com/item=18842) is purple’ish and has a lightning effect much like the ten storms set.
As an idea for a weapon, Stellaris (http://www.wowhead.com/item=28263) is very good looking and matches the color scheme. As a bonus it can also be dual wielded.
Thank you for suggesting Stellaris, it’s exactly what I’m looking for. Do you happen to know of a shaman-y looking shield that matches the whole set?
Another nice “purplish” staff is Cerith Spire Staff (http://www.wowhead.com/item=56271). It’s a little nautical in style so you may not be inclined towards such a look, but color-wise I think it’s a good match.
