Armor Type: Cloth - Uncommon
Level Req.: 36 (85 with extras)
Source: BoE – Tailor crafted
Availability: Rather easy to get from the Auction House or a tailor
How to get the set:
The Crimson Silk Robe is craftable by Tailors of 205 skill or more and requires Pattern: Crimson Silk Robe, sold on a limited supply by Vizzklick in Gadgetzan, Tanaris. The respawn timer on the pattern is quite short, so there should be plenty of Tailors around with the recipe who can craft the robe for you.
The Robe of the Crimson Order, a BoE drop from Outland zones and instances, is identical to the Crimson Silk Robe. You may have some luck finding it on the Auction House as an alternative.
Extras:
Head – Red Pointy Hat (Quest reward from Wanted: Annihilator Servo! in Netherstorm)
Shoulders – Crimson Silk Shoulders (BoE crafted by Tailors of 190+ skill with Pattern: Crimson Silk Shoulders)
Hands – Cindercloth Gloves (BoE crafted by Tailors of 270+ skill with Pattern: Cindercloth Gloves)
Waist – Imperial Red Sash (BoE world drop)
Feet – Cindercloth Boots (BoE crafted by Tailors of 245+ skill)
Staff – Visage of the Destroyer (BoP drop from Warmaster Blackhorn in normal-mode Dragon Soul)
Recolours:

I use this set, what goes very nicely, is the red wizard hat from area 52. And if you happen to be a mage, the dungeon shoulders. The blue equivalent of those shoulders look nice from the blue set and drop from the last boss of colifang reservoir
Another option for the belt is the “Condor Belt”. I think it matches the Red/Gold of the shoulders a little better than what’s listed here.
Here’s a TinyUrl to WowHead’s model viewer with the alternate belt:

shoulders are a bad match, t5 is better
Tier 5? You mean Tirisfall? A little clarification can help other players benefit from your suggestion. Although, we rarely suggest tier pieces for a robe like this in order to include all clothies, and tier pieces can be very hard to obtain anyways.
I’ll tell you why I went with the crimson silk shoulders:
- Officially they are the matching shoulders, they are both “crimson silk”.
- If you look at the collar of the robe, the yellow detail, that you also see in the shoulders, is mirrored.
Another alternative for shoulders without the yellow detail could be Consortium Mantle.

The mage, red evokers silk amice is the best. and the blue version from colifang is awesome with the blue recolor of this set. nuff said
